Hangvető started as a publisher of folk and world music records. We are proud to represent the best in Hungarian folk and world music ever since 2003. We run a record label, Folk Europa, and distribute records in the authentic traditional folk, world music and jazz genres. Hangvető is proud to be the local distributor of the legendary ECM Records. In the age of digital distribution and streaming, you may find our records on Bandcamp, Spotify or Apple Music, but we still produce and distribute physical records too, available for record stores and private collections alike.
