ROADTRIP: the Slow Touring Network

RoadTrip is the first European block booking network, serving venues, artists and sustainable touring. An initiative by LIVEMX, co-funded by the European Union and organized by Forum For Folk Arts by Hangveto, RoadTrip sets out to build a network of 30 venues that are willing and able to organize greener and more efficient tours. Our interconnected network could cut costs and flights, streamline tours, benefit venues and artists directly.

Target region: Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Greece, Hungary, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia

We meet the members, draw up next steps and set up a transferrable model – join us in Budapest!

Building a network in Central and Eastern Europe

Network of venues in 3-hour vicinity from one to next

Building transferrable block booking know-how

Ecological and economical sustainability

Increasing resilience of the music sector

Complex cultural counselling tailored to local conditions

Urban marketing analysis and feasibility studies

Non-profit educational project development

Join the network! We are looking for Venues in Central and Eastern Europe

  • with world, folk and jazz programming, 
  • that have a maximum capacity of 1,000 people, 
  • that operate year-round (not just in summer), 
  • that have an indoor concert space, 
  • that are proactive and open to collaboration.
